I loved the Father and Son Cards
The back of the cards says:In 1969 at Sarasota, Florida I became so depressed that I considered quitting Baseball. I called Dad in Cincinnati and told him of my feelings. Dad said to stay there, he'd be down promptly. It took him 19 hours and there he was ! Dad calmed me made me feel like new,and I resumed my career. Thus whatever I may achieve in Baseball I own to Dad. --Buddy Bell

Excellent story and a Tribe card to boot! :-)
That sounds like the same story Mickey Mantle told of his days in the minors.
